Meet the Team
Gary Jennison - Chief Executive
Gary joined Secure Trust Bank on 25 September 2006 as Chief
Executive.
He previously worked at Barclays Bank for 4 years; initially as
Sales Director in Business Banking then as Managing Director of the
Barclays & Woolwich branch networks, running 2,100 branches
across the UK.
Gary's earlier jobs were MD of the Business to Business division
at Lex Vehicle Leasing; European Sales & Marketing Director at GE
Capital; Sales & Marketing Director at Hitachi Capital and
Marketing Manager at Lloyds Bowmaker.
Gary has been married to Helen for 27 years and has 3 fantastic
children - David aged 23, Kate aged 22 and Freya aged 17. Interests
are mainly sports related particularly watching rugby and football,
but also include keeping fit, going to the theatre, travelling to
interesting places and, most recently, climbing challenges like the 3
Peaks & Kilimanjaro. Unusually for a man, Gary is great at
multitasking & is famous for keeping lots of balls in the air at
the same time.
Nick Fielden - Finance Director
Nick trained as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in the early 1990s
but would like to make it really clear that this was an accident and
that he meant to have become the fire engine driver he always dreamed
of being as a kid. However this ability to fight fires and douse
people with water proved strangely useful in his later career. After
spending time as a management consultant he joined HSBC in 1995 and
spent 13 years there doing the jobs and projects that were deemed too
daft for anyone else to try.
In 2007 he joined Moneyway as the Finance Director and it is his job
to hold "our collective feet to the fire" so that we are in
a position to set the financial services world alight.
When not spending time at work he is a typical dad (as the
"jokes" above and terrible dancing ability testify) who
loves spending time with his gorgeous wife and family except when his
daughter forces him to take her shopping or his son asks for help
with his maths homework. He keeps sane by losing regularly at
squash.
Owen Woodley - Sales & Marketing
Director
Owen joined Moneyway in January 2007 as Sales & Marketing
Director after having spent 20 years at Barclays - your cue to say
"Owen, you don't look old enough!"
He started his career in corporate banking in London, followed by a
number of years running parts of the Barclays businesses in Africa.
More recently, Owen was Regional Director for the 450 Barclays and
Woolwich branches in the Midlands and in London.
At Moneyway, Owen is responsible for the marketing function (that is
all the fluffy stuff like the brand and the advertising), the high
street Branches, the customer sign-up call centre and the debt
management business. His job is very simple. Owen is there to ensure
that we are constantly improving our products and services for our
lovely customers.
Away from the office, Owen lives in a very old house with his lovely
wife and two children. He loves food and wine and is a very bad, but
enthusiastic, musician.
